The Holly Hamilton Gallery is located at the top of Exchange Street in the heart of Portland’s Old Port district. Both a gallery and a working goldsmith’s studio, browse by appointment in this beautiful, open space, discuss a custom piece, buy a treasure for yourself or for someone you love.

Holly began her journey toward becoming a jeweler and goldsmith right here in Portland, at the Maine College of Art (formerly the “Portland School of Art”). She spent her early years in a dark, damp basement with nothing more than a bench and a few tools.  Slowly, while balancing raising a family and second jobs,  she built her career.

Holly spent a lot of time traveling for shows and displaying her work in other small galleries, which lead to eventually opening her own in a small coastal town in Maine. The journey eventually brought her back to Portland, to the place where it all began…in a beautiful space and city that reflects and honors her hard work and years of dedication.
